Stamp Customization
Q: Do I have to personalize my stamp with a name?
A: The product page for each stamp design has a field where you can enter your personalization. If there is a character limit, that will be noted in the product description. As long as you stay within the character limit, you may enter your name, business name, website, social media handle, etc. into the field.
Q: Will I see a proof before my stamp is made?
A: Under normal circumstances, we will not send you a proof of your stamp ahead of time. Stamps will be customized to match exactly what you have typed into the personalization field with the exception of all-caps designs (see below), so we ask that you please proofread carefully and make any edits prior to submitting your order. If we do suggest a change for some reason, we will notify you and offer you a proof to review before we manufacture your stamp.
Q: If the stamp design shows the name in all capital letters, can I enter lower case letters instead?
A: No. If a stamp shows the personalization in all capital letters, we will not be able to change that to lower case or title case lettering when we customize it for you. Therefore, if you type "Sally Stamper" into a field where the personalization is designed to be in all caps, you will receive a stamp that reads "SALLY STAMPER." See each stamp's product page for details.
Q: Do I need to type in the "'s" that is part of the design? For example, if the design reads "Made for you in Nancy's Craftroom," would I enter "Nancy" or "Nancy's" into the personalization field?
A: For stamps that include an "'s" as part of the design (e.g., "Nancy's Craftroom"), the "'s" will be automatically included and does not count toward the character limit, so you do not have to type that into the personalization field. (If you type it in by mistake, don't worry! Our graphic designers set up every personalized stamp and will make sure your stamp reads correctly.)
Q: Can I use special characters?
A: You may enter special characters into the personalization field. However, if the font used for the design does not contain the special character you choose, we reserve the right to substitute the font pictured for a similar one that includes the special character.
Accounts & Payment
Q: I have an account on the Taylored Expressions site, but I can't log into it on the TE Made for Me site. Do I need to create a new one?
A: Yes. Because TE Made for Me is a new website, you will need to create a new account if you wish to save your address, check out faster, track your shipments, etc. You may use the same username and password that you use for your account on the Taylored Expressions site, but the accounts will remain completely separate.
Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. We also have partnered with Afterpay to offer a buy now, pay later option. If selected, you can choose to pay for your order in four equal installments.
Q: How do you keep my credit card information secure?
A: Our customers' privacy and security is a top priority at TE, and we take any and all security concerns seriously. To ensure we are using state-of-the-art processes and the latest technology available, we use industry-leading platforms, including Amazon Web Services for website hosting and PayPal for payment processing. When you place an order, your credit card information is passed directly to our trusted payment gateway partner through SSL encryption standards and remains encrypted at all times. At no time do we have direct access to payment information, and TE never stores any customer credit card information.

Q: Do you collect sales tax?
A: As of January 1, 2021, sales tax is applicable to residents in the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
Coupons & Discounts
Q: How do I redeem a coupon or discount code?
A: To redeem a coupon or discount code, click on the "Add Coupon" link on the Your Cart page or Checkout page, enter the code and click "Apply." If the code is active and your order is eligible for the specific coupon or discount, you will immediately see the dollar amount subtracted from your subtotal. If the coupon or discount has expired or your purchase is not eligible, you will receive an error message.
Q: Can I use more than one coupon or discount code on a single order?
A: Unfortunately, no. Our system does not currently allow you to enter more than one coupon or discount code per order.
Q: Can I use Crafty Points coupons on the TE Made for Me site?
A: The Crafty Points Loyalty Program on the Taylored Expressions website is not integrated with the TE Made for Me website. As a result, you cannot earn or redeem Crafty Points on purchases made on the TE Made for Me site.
Stamp Manufacturing
Q: How long will it take to receive my personalized stamp?
A: Because the personalized stamps must be custom designed and manufactured in-house, we ask that you please allow 6 weeks for your stamp to ship. You will receive a shipping notification via email when your order ships.
Q: Where do you manufacture the customized stamps?
A: All of our red rubber stamps are manufactured and packaged in our facility in Ankeny, Iowa.
Q: How is my personalized stamp mounted?
A: Stamps are mounted on cling foam and are best used with an acrylic block or stamp alignment tool.
Q: How will my personalized stamp be packaged?
A: Each stamp will arrive in its own box with tissue paper and a sticker - perfect for gifting!
